Why don't my Square invoices show on Square KDS?
Square KDS shows point of sale, Square Online, kiosk and delivery partner orders. Square's help pages list no setting that sends an invoice to the kitchen screen.
How do I get my Square invoices to the kitchen?
Connect Square to Suavo, pick your stores and open the kitchen screen in any web browser. Every invoice from every Square store you connect becomes a ticket within about a minute, with the delivery time read from the invoice. When no time is found, the screen asks the kitchen for one. When you edit the invoice, the ticket follows.
Does it work with more than one store?
Yes. Connect Square once and pick your stores. Orders and invoices from every Square store you connect go to that store's own kitchen screen.
Do I need Square KDS or a Square Plus plan?
No. Suavo's kitchen screen is free for 1 location and runs in a web browser. Keep making invoices in Square the way you do now.
Where does the delivery time come from?
From the invoice title, such as “Tuesday 10/21 (Student Store) 10:00 AM”, or from the invoice's service date. A time without AM or PM follows your Square business hours. With no time at all, the ticket asks the kitchen for one.
Does Suavo change my invoices?
No. Suavo reads your invoices. It never marks one paid and never moves money. If you add Accounts Desk, it can also create invoices in your Square.
Does it work for catering, not just schools?
Yes. Any invoice from every Square store you connect becomes a ticket: catering, office lunches, school orders.
What doesn't it do yet?
The delivery time comes from the invoice; when none is found, the screen asks for one. Suavo never edits an invoice, marks one paid or moves money.
